1) How and why have you started to write? Were there something or someone that gave you an impulse?

I’ve wanted to write since I was about 10 years old, but I never had confidence that it was a real job. My parents didn’t think so, either! So I went to college and then to law school and became a lawyer instead. But I was always writing stories and plays and musicals on the side. Finally I decided a few years ago to stop running away from my dream, and to get serious about it. So I stopped doing everything else, and started writing books. And here I am! And I can honestly say that this job is just as great as I dreamed it would be when I was 10. I get to read as much as I want, writing stories all day—it’s wonderful.

2) Tell me something about you and your book Doggirl.

I wrote DOGGIRL because when I was young I desperately—I mean DESPERATELY—wanted a dog, but my mother wouldn’t let me have one. She didn’t want any animals of any kind in our house. So the best I could do was read every single book I could find at the library that had a dog on the cover. I especially loved any book that had a dog AND a girl on the cover—then I could pretend to be her.

Now that I’m an adult, of course I have dogs. And it was such a joy to write DOGGIRL, about a girl who not only has dogs, but also knows how to train them to do all sorts of tricks like you see in the movies. That is definitely a book I would have loved to read when I was a girl!

3) While youre writing, have you discovered a character that you where developing feelings of love for? And was there a character that gave you headaches?

I’m very simplistic this way: I love all my main girl characters and the guys they have crushes on. I love to write scene after scene for them, because it’s so much fun to spend time with them.

On the other hand, I hate all the mean characters in my books and can’t stand writing scenes for them, because they don’t deserve them. I don’t know if other writers feel that way about their characters, but I certainly do!

4) How have you done your research for this novel?

I always do TONS of research for all my novels. Mainly because I love having a reason to read as many books as I want about topics I’m interested in. So for DOGGIRL, I read books on dog training, animal behavior, animal training for the movies and theater, etc. For other books of mine I’ve done all sorts of scientific research that I think is so fascinating. One of my series, PARALLELOGRAM, involves quantum physics and parallel universes. The research is hard, but I just love learning!

5) Is there a book that inspired your writings?

All the books I read as a young girl made me want to grow up to be a writer. I especially loved books about magic and animals. I love the HARRY POTTER books now—in fact, I’ve been rereading the whole series this summer, because I always learn so much about writing by reading how well J.K. Rowling does it. Plus I simply love the story!

6) In the end, would you like say some words to your fans from Romania?

I’m thrilled to have fans in Romania! Your country looks so beautiful. I love the photos I’ve seen of the architecture and the countryside. Gorgeous!

1) Cum şi când ai început să scrii? A existat cineva sau ceva, care te-a impulsionat?

Mi-am dorit să scriu încă de la vârsta de 10 ani, dar niciodată nu am avut siguranţa că este un job real. Părinţii mei au gândit la fel! Deci, am mers la colegiu, apoi la avocatură şi aşa am devenit instant, avocată. Dar mereu am scris poveşti şi piese de teatru de pe margine. Într-un final am decis acum câţiva ani să nu mai fug de visurile mele şi să le i-au în serios. Am încetat să mai fac altceva  şi am început să scriu cărţi. Şi iată-mă aici! Şi pot spune foarte onest, că acest job este minunat, aşa cum am visat atunci când aveam 10 ani. Am reuşit să citesc cât am dorit, să scriu poveşti toată ziua-- este minunat.

2) Tell me something about you and your book Doggirl.

Am scris DOGGIRL pentru că, atunci când eram tânără vroiam cu disperare-- vreau să spun DISPERATĂ-- un câine, dar mama mea nu m-ar fi lăsat să am unul. Ea nu vroia nici un fel de animal la noi în casă. Tot ceea ce puteam să fac, era să citesc fiecare carte, pe care o găseam la bibliotecă şi avea un câine pe copertă. Iubeam în special orice carte, care avea un câine şi o fată pe copertă-- apo puteam să pretind că sunt ea.

Acum că sunt adult, bineânţeles că am un câine. A fost o încântare să scriu DOGGIRL, despre o fată,  care nu numai că are câini, dar ştie de asemenea cum să-i dreseze ca să facă tot felul de trucuri ca în filme. Aceasta este cu siguranţă o carte, pe care aş fi citit-o cu încântare pe vremea când eram o fetiţă!

3) While youre writing, have you discovered a character that you where developing feelings of love for? And was there a character that gave you headaches?

Sunt foarte simplistă în legătură cu asta: Îmi iubesc toate personajele feminine principale şi pe băieţii faţă de care acestea se îndrăgostesc. Îmi place să scriu scenă după scenă pentru ei, pentru că este foarte distractiv să petrec timp cu ei.

Pe de altă parte, urăsc toate personajele rele din cărţile mele şi nu prea mă simt în largul meu când scriu scene pentru ei, pentru că nu le merită. Nu ştiu dacă ceilalţi autori simt la fel faţă de personajele lor, dar eu cu siguranţă aşa fac!

4) How have you done your research for this novel?

Întotdeauna fac o tonă de cercetare pentru toate poveştiile mele. Amânunţite, pentru că iubesc să am un motiv pentru a citi la fel de multe cărţi pe cât îmi place să citesc subiectele, de care sunt interesată. Deci pentru DOGGIRL, am citit cărţi despre dresajul acestora, comportamentul lor, dresajul acestora în filme şi teatru, etc. Pentru celelalte cărţi ale mele am făcut fel şi fel de cercetări ştinţifiice şi cred că asta este fascinant. Una dintre seriile mele PARALLELOGRAM, implică un cuantum atât fizic şi în paralel universul. Cercetarea este grea, dar chiar ador să învăţ!

5) Is there a book that inspired your writings?

Toate cărţiile pe care le-am citit când eram mică m-au făcut să-mi doresc să devin o scriitoare. În special iubeam cărţiile despre magie şi animale. Iubesc cărţiile HARRY POTTER acum-- de fapt, am recitit întreaga serie în vara aceasta, pentru că mereu învăţ atât d multe despre scris, citind cât de bine J.K. Rowling o face. În plus, pur şi simplu iubesc povestea!

6) In the end, would you like say some words to your fans from Romania?

Sunt încântată să am fani în România! Ţara ta pare atât de frumoasă. Iubesc pozele, pe care le-am văzut ale arhitecturii şi mediului rural. Superbe!

  1) How and why have you started to write? Were there something or someone that gave you an impulse?

I’ve always loved to write. My first story won an award in the fourth grade and I’ve been hooked ever since. Most recently, I decided to pursue a career as an author after I lost my job in 2009 due to the economic downturn. I published the Daughters of Saraqael trilogy last July. Now I plan on writing as many books as I can!

2) Tell me something about you and your book Becoming.

Sure thing! I’m a full time wedding planner as well as an author. I’m also a wife and mother, so life around here is never dull. I make my home in Orlando, Florida, so I get to meet plenty of interesting people who travel here to visit the theme parks.

Becoming recently won an award for 2012 Best Sci-Fi or Fantasy Novel at the UtopYA conference. I published the Daughters of Saraqael trilogy (Becoming, Central and Foretold) almost one year ago. The trilogy follows sisters Amber, Olivia and Skye as they learn about their non-human halves…their Estilorian halves. The series is YA fantasy/romance, so you can expect some swoon-worthy male characters, as well!

3) While youre writing, have you discovered a character that you where developing feelings of love for? And was there a character that gave you headaches?

I’m a little in love with all of my main characters, if I’m telling the truth. Each of my male leads has at least one quality that I love in a guy. They’re attractive, strong, brave and endearing. I receive so much feedback from readers who each have a different favorite. My favorite character to write, though, is Zachariah. He’s the male protagonist from Defy. I love his personality!

4) How have you done your research for this novel?

My books are fantasy novels, so much of the content is created by me. However, I do a lot of research involving mythology. Because the Etilorians and their world are the basis of human myths and legends, I make sure to include plenty of unusual, fantastic elements.

5) Is there a book that inspired your writings?

There are many books that have inspired me. When I was younger, books by J.R.R. Tolkein, R.A. Salvatore, Madeline L’Engle and other authors like them were among my favorites. They continue to influence my writing, as do more contemporary authors.

6) In the end, would you like say some words to your fans from Romania?

You have a beautiful country with an amazing history. Thank you so much for your interest in my books. I would love to hear from you!

Odată la trei ani, Amber Hopkins explodează. Okay, nu o explozie ce te face ţăndări, dar oricum mereu doare ca în Iad, iar viaţa ei devine un dezastru. Ea deja a avut 4 familii, iar acum face tot ce îi stă în putinţă să evite mutarea la o a 6-a familie.

Cum aniversarea ei de 18 ani se apropie, aceasta începe să se simtă ciudat. În ea creşte o energie puternică şi aşa se iveşte dezastrul. Când inevitabila explozie are loc, în viaţa ei are loc cea mai mare schimbare de până acum. Acum nu învaţă doar despre sentimentele familiei ei adoptive şi ale prietenului ei cel mai bun Gabriel - ceea ce simt ei cu adevărat despre ea - dar descoperă că nu este singura, fără familie .

În primul rând va învăţa care este adevărul despre puterile ei: nu este cu adevărat om.

Amber trebuie să Devină, transferandu-se într-un alt plan de existenţă şi riscând să piardă cea mai importantă relaţie, pe care a avut-o vreodată. Cu siguranţă! Sunt o planificatoare de nunţi cu normă întregă la fel cum sunt şi autoare. Sunt de asemenea şi soţie şi mamă, deci viaţa pe aici nu e niciodată plictisitoare. Îmi fac casa în Orlando, Florida, deci ajung să întâlnesc o mulţime de oameni interesanţi, care călătoresc pentru a vizita parcurile tematice.


Becoming a câştigat recent un premiu pentru 2012 Best Sci-Fi sau Fantasy Novel la conferinţa Utop YA. Am publicat trilogia Daughters of Saraqel ( Becoming, Central şi Foretold ) aproape acum un an. 3) În cursul scrierii romanului, ţi-ai dat seama că te ataşezi mai mult de un anume personaj? Şi invers, ai descoperit că vreunul vă irită?


Sunt puţin îndrăgostită de toate personajele mele principale, dacă vrei să fiu sinceră. Fiecare dintre personajele mele masculine, are cel puţin o calitate, pe care o iubesc la un tip. Sunt atractivi, puternici şi afectuoşi. Am primit atâtea mailuri de la autori, care au fiecare câte un alt favorit. Oricum, personajul meu favorit, pe care l-am scris a fost Zachariah. Este personajul masculin protagonist în Defy . Îi iubesc personalitatea!


4) Cum aţi făcut cercetarea pentru această carte?


Cărţile mele cuprind poveşti fantastice, deci foarte mult din conţinut este creat de mine. Totuşi, am făcut foarte multă cercetare privind mitologia. Pentru că Etilorii şi lumea lor este bazată pe legendele şi miturile noastre, m-am asigurat să includ cât se poate de mult neobişnuitul, elementele fantastice.

5) Este vreo carte, care vă inspiră?

Sunt foarte multe cărţi, care m-au inspirat. Când eram mai tânără, cărţile lui J.R.R.Tolkein, R.A. Salvatore, Madeline L’ Engle şi alţi autori la fel ca ei, care au fost printre favoriţii mei. Ei au continuat să-mi influenţeze munca, la fel de mult ca autorii contemporani.


6) În final, ai dori să le spui câteva cuvinte fanilor dumneavoastră din România?


Ai o ţară minunată cu o istorie extraordinară. Îţi mulţumesc foarte mult pentru interesul tău în legătură cu cărţile mele. Mi-ar plăcea să aud de voi!

1) Hello Jamie you can tell me something about you and your book Blood Born?

First, thank you so much for having me! Hmm, something about me, huh? Well, I’m a reader who loves to write, and a writer who loves to read! Ha!


BLOOD BORN is the first book in The Blood Prophecy trilogy, about a half human, half vampire girl who is fighting to save her humanity. There’s lots of blood and fighting and fun!

2) How and why have you started to write?

I knew from a long time ago that I wanted to be a writer—it just took me a few years to get there! Lol The normal trappings of life got in the way (you know, getting a job, paying bills, lol), and it wasn’t until I read TWILIGHT that I thought, "Okay Jamie, now’s the time to get off

3) Is there a book that inspired your writings?

Well, TWILIGHT inspired me to get started writing, but there are so many books that inspire me to write. The two most inspiring would have to be TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD by Harper Lee and FRANKENSTEIN by Mary Shelley. If I could have just a fraction of their talent, I’d be happy!

4) It was harder for you to work with the female character?

Excellent question! It was, actually, a little more difficult getting inside my character Ava’s head because she’s a girl instead of a guy; but ultimately we all feel the same things, just in different ways. And I’ve always been an emotional type person, so expressing Ava’s emotions throughout the book wasn't too difficult. :)

5) While youre writing, have you discovered a character that you where developing feelings of love for? And was there a character that gave you headaches?

I absolutely love all of my characters, but there’s a minor character in BLOOD BORN, Erik, that I must admit I feel stronger for than most of the others. He plays a much bigger role in the second book, BLOOD AWAKENING, and he’s suffered a lot of loss and pain and covers that with humor, which I tend to do myself! 

 As far as a character giving me a headache, I would have to say Chance, Ava’s love interest. In the second book, he’s much different than in BLOOD BORN, and I wanted him to be the same—so that was very frustrating and headache-inducing!

6) How have you done your research for this novel?

As far as the vampire aspect, I didn’t do much research—unless you count a lifetime of watching vampire movies and reading vampire novels, lol. I wanted to pull bits and pieces of the vampire mythology from several different areas and combine them into what I wanted my mythology to be (for example, the vampires in BLOOD BORN can go out in sunlight, but they also drink human blood).

I did do a bit of research for the setting, which is a small town in Massachusetts, about a half hour southwest of Boston. That aspect of it was actually fun, discovering some place I’ve never been! Most of the second book takes place in New York City, which I was fortunate enough to visit this summer, but I also did quite a bit of research on the location aspect. And the third and final book in the trilogy will have several scenes in a certain foreign country ;-) that I have never been to, so I already know I’ll be using Google a lot for that, too!

7) In the end, would you like say some words to your fans from Romania?

Să te trezeşti într-un sicriu flămând pentru sânge, este doar începutul pentru Ava Ble în vârstă de 16 ani. Când Chance Caldon, frumuşelul, care a ajutat-o să iasă îi spune că este pe jumătate vampir, lumea Avei se întoarce pe dos. Jumătate vampir? Ava nu poate să credaă aşa ceva…ea nici măcar nu ştie ce înseamnă asta! Până când Aldris, un vampir de o mie de ani, îi arată şi îi spune că totul este real-- şi că el este cel care a transformat-o. Abia atunci Ava începe cu adevărat să creadă ceea ce este. Acum, ea trebuie să se confrunte cu brusca şi puternica ei dorinţă de a-l vedea pe Aldric mort şi sentimentele pentru Chance, care sunt din ce în ce mai puternice. 1) Bună Jamie, ai putea să-mi spui ceva despre tine şi cartea ta Blood Born?

În primul rând mulţumesc foarte mult pentru că mi-ai luat acest interviu! Hmm, ceva despre mine huh? Ei bine, sunt un cititor căruia îi place să scrie şi un scriitor căruia îi place să citească! Ha!

BLOOD BORN este prima carte din trilogia The Blood Prophecy, despre o fată pe jumătate om pe jumătate vampire, care se luptă pentru a-şi salva umanitatea. Este foarte mult sânge, lupte şi distracţie!

2) Cum şi de ce ai început să scrii?

Ştiu de foarte multă vreme că vreau să devin scriitor -- doar că mi-au luat câţiva ani ca să ajung acolo! Lol.  Piediciile normale ale vieţii mi-au stat în cale (  şti tu, luându-mi un job, plătind facturi, lol ), şi asta a fost până când am citit TWILIGHT, apoi am gândit „ Okay Jamie, acum este timpul să-ţi mişti fundul leneş şi să te apuci de cartea aceea!”

3) Există o carte care te-a inspirat?

Ei bine, TWILIGHT m-a inspirat să încep să scriu, dar sunt atât de multe cărţi, care m-au inspirat să scriu. Două dintre cele care m-au inspirat cel mai mult ar fi TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD de Harper Lee şi FRANKENSTEIN de Maty Shelly. Dacă aş avea o fracţiune din talentul lor, aş fi fericit!

4) A fost greu să lucrezi cu un personaj de sex feminin?

O întrebare excelentă! Chiar a fost, de fapt, puţin mai dificil să intru în capul personajului Ava, pentru că este o fată în loc de băiat; dar până la urmă cu toţii avem aceleaşi sentimente, doar că diferit. Mereu am fost o persoană emotivă aşa că exprimarea sentimentelor Avei de-a lungul cărţii nu a fost dificilă. :)

5) În cursul scrierii romanului, ţi-ai dat seama că te ataşezi mai mult de un anume personaj? Şi invers, ai descoperit că vreunul vă irită?

Îmi iubesc toate personajele, dar este un personaj secundar în BLOOD BORN, faţă de care sentimentele mele sunt mai puternice faţă de celelalte şi anume Erik. El joacă un rol mai important în cea de-a doua carte, BLOOD AWAKENING, iar el a suferit foarte mult din cauza pierderilor suferite şi încearcă să acopere asta prin umor, ceea ce tind să fac şi eu!

Cât despre un personaj care să-mi dea dureri de cap, ar trebui să spun Chance, cel pe care Ava îl iubeşte. În cea de-a doua carte acesta este mult mai diferit decât în BLOOD BORN, iar eu am vrut ca el să fie la fel -- deci asta a fost foarte frustrant şi bătăile de cap au fost incluse!

6) Cum aţi făcut cercetarea pentru această poveste?

În afară de aspectul vampirilor, nu am făcut prea multă cercetare -- asta dacă numeri viaţa petrecută privind filme cu vampiri şi citind poveşti cu vampiri, lol.

Vroiam să i-au părţi şi muşcături ale vampirilor din mitologie, din diverse arii şi să le combin în ceea ce vroiam ca mitologia mea să fie ( de exemplu, vampirii din BLOOD BORN nu pot ieşi în lumina soarelui, dar ei beau de asemenea şi sânge uman ).

Am făcut o mică cercetare cu privire la locul, unde se desfăşoară acţiunea, care este un mic oraş în Massachusetts, cam la o oră şi jumătate sud-vest de Boston. Acest aspect a fost chiar distractiv, să descopăr un loc, în care nu am mai fost niciodată! În mare parte din cea de-a doua carte, acţiunea are loc în oraşul New York, pe care am fost suficient de norocos, să-l vizitez în această vară, dar am făcut şi o mică cercetare asupra aspectului, pe care-l are locaţia. Cea de-a treia carte şi ultima din această trilogie va avea mai multe scene, care vor avea loc în altă ţară ;-), în care nu am mai fost niciodată, deci deja ştiu că voi folosi Google foarte mult pentru asta!

7) În final, ai dori să le spui câteva cuvinte fanilor dumneavoastră din România?

Îţi mulţumesc foarte mult pentru că sunt aici pe blog cu voi astăzi şi pentru fanii pe care îi am în România, chiar sper că v-a plăcut să citiţi BLOOD BORN şi întreaga trilogie Blood Prophecy şi îşi mulţumesc foarte mult pentru susţinere!

Universul meu este negru acum, nimic nu mă poate readuce înapoi…doar o flacără atâta tot, o flacără care străluceşte mai tare şi mai tare, care mă ajută să îmi găsesc raţiunea. O flacără formată din iubire şi pasiune! Diamantul în formă de lacrimă străluceşte mai tare ca niciodată şi cu paşi nesiguri mă îndrept spre el, îl ating şi îmi simt corpul propulsat în universul, care poartă un sigur nume  Ella .

“ It had been a difficult year and tortured. A year ransacking heaven and earth, asking, looking, looking full of despair and hope. „

Ella este o femeie pierdută într-un univers obscur, înconjurată de umbre şi izolată de lumea exterioară, sănătatea ei mentală este foarte fragilă. Într-un teribil accident aceasta îşi pierde soţul şi fetiţa, iar ea aproape îşi pierde piciorul drept.

„ Blaming it up and get to behead her soul. “

Zi şi noapte cercetează cerul şi pământul, sperând ca dulcea ei Chiara să mai fie în viaţă, coşmarurile o năpădesc, vocea ei catifelată, buclele negre şi ochişorii pătrunzători o ţintuiesc pe loc dintr-un coşciug, care în realitate nu a existat niciodată. Corpurile acestora nu au fost găsite niciodată, după spusele poliţiştilor.

„The pain was all that she had, her treasure, her heritage, that which makes her feel close to the world of her dead ... or of her disappeared, forcing her to stay alive. “

Dorinţa de a răzbate printre umbre o copleşeşte pe Ella atât de mult încât aceasta decide să-şi cumpere un revolver, pentru momentul, în care va fi pregătită să renunţe la această lume şi să îmbrăţişeze liniştea eternă.

“ Now I know that each have an unique destiny exist between human beings and it an indissoluble unit, that it is very hard to break. After all, you've carved your way as you were wanted and... you become what you wanted. “

Dar până atunci singura cale, prin care femeia poate suporta singurătatea este prin oferirea corpului ei bărbaţilor. Aceasta se deghizează în apartamentul de la ultimul etaj şi intră complet într-un rol controversat, cel al  Doamnei Înlăcrimate .

„ Writers have a hidden  life from the everyday life, inner. Words and dreams are their soul. You have a gift, don’t blame it to death. „

Când clopotele bisericii bat de 12:00 această femeie enigmatică îşi primeşte invitaţii în apartamentul renascentist, care seamănă cu o oază pentru pacea sufletească. Bărbaţii nu au voie să o mângâie decât cu anumite obiecte aduse de ei, cum ar fi bani, cărţi, scenarii etc.

„…And so the only thing that remains, mysterious lady, is the present.

Ce se poate întâmpla când un misterios bărbat, care se semnează cu litera L. îi trimite scrisori compuse din fragmente bine alese, care au un echilibru sfăşietor împreună, dar care separate nu înseamnă prea multe.

„She and he were speaking the shadows mysterious language, one known only to those who dwell in their fields.”

Doamna Înlăcrimată este foarte intrigată de acest L. , dar adevărul este că Ella e atrasă de anticarul care o lasă, în fiecare seară să cutreiere coridoarele întunecate de fiecare dată când aceasta simţea nevoia să se refugieze printre umbre.

“WHOEVER YOU ARE, NOW I PLACE MY HAND UPON YOU THAT YOU BE MY POEM,

I WHISPER WITH MY LIPS CLOSE TO YOUR EAR,

I HAVE LOVED MANY WOMEN…BUT I LOVE NONE BETTER YOU. “

Ella era intrigată de versurile sau pasajele, pe care anticarul le sublinia şi le punea în pupitrul secret al biroului. Vroia să vorbească neapărat cu el dar acesta mereu o evita, preferând să o studieze de la distanţă. Timiditatea lui nu-i permitea să se apropie. Până când a luat o decizie crucială, când orhideea va deveni roşie atunci el îi va vorbi.

„Life is the greatest scene play, and those who not play misses it. “

“ It was another one of those Angeli del Fango. “

“ A kiss that kills, vive and  high. “

Autoarea ma hipnotizat prin multitudinea de metafore, care îmi făceau inima să se înfoaie în penele, pe care nu le are şi să pulseze sângele mai repede. Fiecare cuvânt avea o însemnătate, pe care puţini o puteau înţelege. O poveste, care în cele din urmă s-a dovedit a fi…surprinzătoare şi şocantă, dureroasă şi sfâşietoare. Un final neaşteptat!

Cine ar fi crezut că bărbatul timid din anticariat o va salva pe această frumoasă femeie, care este bântuită de Cealaltă…

Hello my dear shatterings! For today we have an interview with the author of " Delirium " novel, Lauren Oliver. She was very nice and accepted to answer my questions.

1) Tell me something about you and your book “ Delirium “.

It's about a world where Love is considered a deadly and contagious disease, and about a girl named Lena who begins to question that.

2) How and why have you started to write? Were there something or someone that gave you an impulse?

I started to write as soon as I was physically able to! I always wanted to tell stories.

3) Is there a book that inspired your writings?

So many! I've always loved Roald Dahl, and I think he's influenced a lot of my work, especially my books for younger readers.

4) Is that something you have in common with the main character?

All of my protagonists have a little bit of me in them, I get mixed up into their personalities!

5) While youre writing, have you discovered a character that you where developing feelings of love for? And was there a character that gave you headaches?

I love all my characters, but that doesn't mean they don't all have their own challenges. It can be tough to stay inside of their heads for a whole long journey.

6) How have you done your research for this novel?

It wasn't research so much as a lot of world construction. You can see a lot of that in the quotes that come before every chapter.

7) In the end, would you like say some words to your fans from Romania?

A fost un timp când dragostea era cel mai important lucru din lume. Oamenii ar fi mers până la capătul pământului ca să o găsească. Ar fi spus minciuni pentru ea. Chiar ar fi omorât pentru ea.

Apoi, în sfârşit au găsit leacul.

Acum, totul este diferit. Oamenii de ştiinţă sunt capabili să distrugă dragostea, iar guvernul a ordonat ca toţi cetăţenii să primească leacul până la vârsta de 18 ani. 1) Spune-mi ceva despre tine şi cartea ta “ Delirium “.

Este vorba despre o lume, în care Dragostea este considerată o boală mortală şi contagioasă şi despre o fată pe nume Lena, care începe să pună la îndoială acest lucru.

2) Cum şi de ce ai început să scrii? A fost ceva sau cineva care te-a impulsionat?

Am început să scriu de îndată ce am fost capabilă fizic de acest lucru! Mereu mi-am dorit să spun poveşti.

3) Există o carte care te-a inspirat în scrierile tale?

Atât de multe! Mereu l-am iubit de Roald Dahl şi cred că el mi-a influenţat foarte mult munca, în special cărţile mele pentru tinerii cititori.

4) Este ceva ce ai în comun cu personajul principal?

Toate personajele mele au câte puţin din mine în ei, mă găsesc amestecată în personalitatea lor!

5) În cursul scrierii romanului, ţi-ai dat seama că te ataşezi mai mult de un anume personaj? Şi invers, ai descoperit că vreunul vă irită?

Îmi iubesc toate personajele, dar asta nu înseamnă că acestea nu au propriile lor provocări. Poate fi foarte greu să rămâi în capul lor pentru o călătorie atât de lungă.

6) De unde vă inspiraţi?

Nu a fost inspiraţie cât foarte multă construcţie a lumii. Poţi vedea foarte mult din asta în citatele care urmează după fiecare capitol.

7) În final, ai dori să le spui câteva cuvinte fanilor dumneavoastră din România?
