Nora nici măcar nu are idee ce o aşteaptă la ora de biologie, ea habar nu are că destinul ei este pe cale să o ia razna. De ce? Simplu, îl cunoaşte pe Patch, un băiat misterios, dar foarte atractiv.

La ora de biologie, unde lecţia are o temă foarte interesantă şi anume reproducerea.

"-Now, Miss Sky, will you announce the topic?

Foarte drăguţ, dar şi mai drăguţă este decizia profesorului de biologie de a schimba partenerii prin clasă. Ghiciţi cu cine nimereşte Nora în bancă? Cu Patch exact. Ajunge de la a lucra cu cea mai bună prietenă a ei, la a lucra cu el. Prima temă, la care trebuie să lucreze împreună: să afle cât mai multe unul despre celălalt şi să facă un eseu până a doua zi. Prima concluzie, la care ajunge Nora…

Nici nu avea şanse să afle prea multe despre el, când Patch avea grijă să întoarcă conversaţia în favoarea lui.

Nora ajunge să-l vadă foarte des pe Patch, chiar şi la bibliotecă, ultimul loc unde ar fi un tip ca Patch. Fata noastră este puţin intrigată, dar decide să ia totul ca pe o coincidenţă stranie.

Partea naşpa….Patch încearcă să o omoare pe Nora, dar ajunge să o salveze, ciudată relaţie, dacă mă întrebi pe mine…
